- Chopped red cabbage, frozen (about 1/2 of a small, 4” head)
- 1 fruit portion of Strawberries, frozen
- Yogurt (optional)
Add red cabbage, strawberries and an avocado to a blender. Blend on high. Add water until the smoothie is thin enough to drink.
If you want, add yogurt and blend until smooth.
To get the full benefits from the smoothie, drink immediately. Don’t forget to eat a bit of protein before starting to drink the smoothie.
Note: The smoothie tastes very mild. Make sure to blend long enough so you don’t have chunks of cabbage. If you want, you can juice the cabbage and add the juice to your smoothie. This is what a juiced red cabbage looks like:
